White Waters - Cafe, Lounge & Bar, located in the Center part of Delhi, Connaught place with adequate space, a vibrant white and blue color theme; giving the ambiance a calm and relaxing effect and good music around the corner are just visitors delight. Most importantly, the delicious food you will get here. They offers Italian, Chinese, North Indian, Mediterranean and Mexican cuisines. The interiors featuring white color walls and vibrant blue color lights pouring onto it perfectly compliment the name of the restaurant "White Waters". Another attraction of this restaurant is a separate lounge at one corner for a group party bash, an isolated table for a couple above the stairs followed by another spacious lounge which can comfortably occupy 8-10 people.

Food is obviously the significant part of our visit and keeping in that mind we started looking for the options listed in the menu. I am now-a-days infatuated with Cocktails so opted Martini Classic which was absolutely delight though was not ornate with its appearance but was perfect for me. Furthermore, we had a mocktail Red Blood (a blend of pomegranate juice and herbs), it was completely refreshing, made of real fruits and turned out to be a nice choice, Yankee Fried Chicken Wings (chicken wings coated with cajun spiced bread crumbs and served with BBQ sauce) was a bit more of sweetness but crispy and flavorful, Grilled Prawn Bruschetta, the crispy bread topped with grilled prawns and mozzarella dices, exactly the taste we love to have and were properly cooked, crunchy and lemony. Marinated Roast Lamb Chops (Juicy tender lamb chops roasted in oven and served with mashed potatoes and buttered vegetables with BBQ sauce), this dish was absolute divine, gorgeous from its appearance and toothsome savor. The service is good, food is great and perfect ambiance. I personally found this place a must visit and would recommend this for groups also.

I would conclude by saying that "White Waters" though a small restaurant in appearance is wholesome in every sense - from food to ambiance. The staff was friendly, service was awesome (food served within 10 minutes except Lamb Chops which took almost 20 minutes but the best part is we were notified by the waiter that it was going to take that long), food was great and overall experience was what we want to feel while exiting the restaurant door.

In short, we had the fOOD which made our mOOd :) .

DISCLAIMER - fOOd aur mOOd won a vouche for White Waters restaurant on Zomato for contributing as best reviewer for Keya-Kainoosh restaurant.

The Yellow Chilli, a family restaurant, Sanjeev Kapoors Khazana is located at Pacific Mall, Ghaziabad. If you are a first time visitor of the mall, and are aware of Yellow Chilli because it is a restaurant opened by great chef Sanjeev Kapoor then you will be bound to visit it. I did the same and below is my experience with the restaurant -

I didn't have a good time in Yellow Chilli Restaurant. With the name associated with this resto bar, I am really disappointed with every aspects of this place. If talk about its interior, ambiance, services and most importantly the food. The Menu offers alot and that too with some never heard before, unique and unusual dish names like Shabnam Ke Moti, Amritsary Machli, Lawrence road tandoori murgh, Puran Singh Da Tari Waala Murgh and more. But, unfortunately, the taste  isn't unique and different. The food was similar to what we can experience at any take away food point or some local restaurants near your home. There is nothing special about this place to talk about.

Now, talking about the food, we started with the Peppery Kasoori Fish Tikka (395/-), Murgh Angar Bedgi (285/-), Head Banger - a mocktail (125/-). Both dishes have 6 medium size cubical pieces of fish/chicken tasting like anyone can cook at home, simply roasted in a microwave with no fuss or minimum efforts served along with 3 or 4 rings of onion and green curd-corriander chutney. Head Banger tasted like a syrup while the ingredients had banana, mango juice and milk in it. This was my wife's choice as she wanted some milk in her mocktail. Both of us didn't like that overpowering, strong flavour of a "certain" syrup.

With almost disappointed with the starters and had almost lost the trust over their chef, we made a move and planned to had dinner - something extra spicy and tasty. I ended up ordering Murgh Mirch Khadai (INR 365), Lasooni Naan (INR 60/-), Pudina Parantha (50/-) in the main course.  Chicken dish was not spicy at all rather it was more salty and tasted like kadhai chicken. Pudina paratha was very thick and non crispy, Lasooni naan was ok.  It was very disappointing dinning experience at Yellow Chilli and desperately wanted to finish ASAP. Service was average, most of the servers seemed confused of what they are doing and what they have to do. I certainly cannot not prefer it to anyone to go and try. I didn't find any dish special to be captured, but still took some for your reference.

bar, bartender, etiquettes, 5 things to know
    1. Try to be polite and courteous while interacting with your bar tender can make your bar experience better. Avoid using words like "hey", "give me" and "let me get" rather using these words like "Could I please have?" or "I think I'll try"are nice. I would prefer to call my bartender with his/her name saying "Mike, Please..". Waving the glass in his/her face or shouting for drink is not cool at all and tends to avoid that. A friendly talk would make the friendly surroundings friendlier.

    2. Many customer like to try the specialty drink of the bar, If you really enjoy a drink, ask the bartender what's in it so that you can request it from another place. Having said that, do not over complain about a drink if it is not good and bartender is surely not the right person to complain to. You’re right guy is the manager.

    3. Tipping your bartender is nice, but you need to keep it justified. I understand the idea of tipping Rs50 or 100 per drink, but if you do the same when you're ordering a round of cocktails and mixed drinks for your group of friends, you can expect to be served last. Having said that, keep the tip reasonable or not tip at all.

    4. Avoid messing with furniture out there, like rearranging them and throwing coats and bags over the bar. Maintain decorum around you. If you need any help related to your belongings just asked the bartender first and before you get sloshed-off. Once you are drunk and so are your friends, it’s the bartender who might help you.

    5. Don't take your bartender as uneducated or dumb, they are holding some degree and might doing this to earn extra money. Avoid hitting on your bartender because that won't help you in getting free drinks or some discount. It might put the bartender in a position to refuse you for a drink or complain to bar authorities.

I would like to conclude that we need to remember that if we are civilized we have to show the civilized behavior with everybody around not only in meeting rooms.
Please share your own experiences with bartenders or others who were extremely well behaved in a bar or extremely uncivilized.

Disclaimer: Above mentioned tips are my own experience but inspiration came from: Refinery29

Me and my wife were out for shopping in Select City Walk and by the end of her shopping streak, we both were hungry and was thinking of what to eat and where to eat. Into this discussion we came across to this place and that too Chinese..we both looked at each other agreed and entered the place. It is a Chinese Thai Resto bar which looks very small from entrance, but actually not that small when you entered it.

There are two sections in this place. One is when you entered it, 3-4 tables are on your left and the same pn the right but for the couple, in between a passage towards Bar area which is the second section of this Restobar.

The interior and ambiance gives an instant nice impression of the place. If visiting this place for the first time don't judge it with the overall space. The moment you enter, someone from the staff would greet and help you to look for a table of your choice, but only if any space left out. I like the Menu, though a bit tricky to open as per my wife ;) and there you go, they have ample of variety to offer start from Lobster, prawn, chicken, dim-sums till Pizzazs. Good variety of Liquor or mock tails to serve, but i personally avoided it cuz of the recent over consumption of alcohol during New Year Party.

Keeping in mind, our maiden visit at Chi, we ended up ordering Crispy Garlic butter prawn (Rs 375/-), Mandarin Noodles Veg (Rs 200/-) and two Coke (Rs 210/-). While waiting for our food to come, i actually borrowed couple of min from my wife and took some pictures of the place for you guys. Here comes our food. I liked the way noodles being served in a Pan, but was a bit disappointed after looking at the quantity of Prawns, but guys believe my words..it was mouth watering and we cannot wait to start eating it, as the food looks it was delicious too, a true chinese flavor..wow..and we were very much into enjoying it for next 15-20 mins.

Staff people out here are attentive and very kind. Chi offers a good variety of Chinese and Thai food which one can try and enjoy. Me and my wife are both fond of Chinese food and personally loved the taste of the food we had. Me and my wife below <3

This is the Bar area of the Chi, which is in the second section of the restaurant and infact more spacious then the entrance section. You can see people out from here shopping and walking while enjoying your meal coz the restaurant's area ends here with a big wall of Glass.

The picture down here actually shows one of the section which might gather your attention because of Chi's various avatars pictures are pasted on the wall. Mr Chi looks cool in all these drawings...

A table for two, you can see the kitchen out from here..and can catch the style of cooking chinese or thai food..lol..only if interested in cooking Or not talking to your partner ;)

Indeed we had fOOD which certainly made our mOOD!!

I happen to be here on last week of december 2012. @Live is a quite small but impressive resto bar in the outer circle. You can enjoy live performances out here as the name suggests. Live performance starts at around 8:00 PM onwards, though i missed it on my last visit coz i was not aware of the time it begins, but still the interior and ambiance certainly added a music rich experience to my imagination and builds my excitement to plan a next visit soon to experince it live @Live ;)

About fOOD, I had Fish fingers..Nachos..Ginger chicken and liked both except nachos. Chicken was tender and tasty, though the fish fingers part was just amazing, not spicy yet delicious to me, it was something new to me and now probably one of my fav starters. Food and drinks are above average, service is very decent. In drinks, I had Draught beer(kingfisher) and my dad had Blenders Pride. Overall i loved and enjoyed this place and that too without experiencing the live music here. I definitely want to recommend this place to all cuz of the food, music and ambience. Its located in the K block outer circle C.P next to Hira sweets, near right cut to PVR Plaza. Guys you must visit and experience the fun @Live. Its not big in term of space, so if planning to visit here for a special ocassion, do make sure to book a reservation to avoid the spoiling your mood spoiling at the end.

I clicked some of the pics @live, i loved the interiors here, please take a look, hope u all do like these...

@Live has two floor, this one is when you enter @Live, where live performaces takes place.

Music Instruments kept here increases more fun to the interiors here
