Flame Grilled PERi-PERIi Chicken Restaurant Marks their Third Opening In One Of The Worl’d Fastest Growing Capital, New Delhi Connaught Place

New Delhi, November 20, 2014 –  Franchise group JANPATH RESTAURANTS PVT LTD, is proud to announce the opening of their third Nando’s in Delhi-NCR on Thursday, 20th November 2014.  The all new casual dining restaurant Nando’s is situated right in the heart of the capital, Connaught Place. Nando’s believe in the idea to provide a good and filling meal at a good price. The launch evening showcased an experiential tasting of Nando’s famous flame-grilled chicken first hand along with a musical night.
The Nando’s flame landed in India way back in 2010 and soon there were 3 Nando’s restaurants across the country. It didn’t take long for people to fall in love with the addictive taste of our flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken and now we have 7 restaurants open in Punjab, Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore. Nando's continues to spice up India with our flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken and Afro-Portugese inspired sides.
"Nando's stand for chicken and chips and we are not diluting it to come to India. The product is the same across the world. The popularity has increased immensely with people getting over fast food and moving towards a healthier choice," said Deepinder Singh Batth, CEO, Nando's Delhi.

Further to this he added, “We are equally excited with the opening of the CP outlet of Nando’s, and I am looking at a fabulous response from the customers. Nando’s have already gained immense popularity with the Indian audience”.

With eclectic interiors done in all-natural shades of wood and Afro music playing in the background and art works displayed exclusively from South Africa. The restaurant promises to give a glimpse of the African side to the customers.

Nando’s future plans include breaking the jinx of international casual/fast casual brands coming into Delhi NCR and not being able to make a mark. Deepinder and the rest of the team want to make Nando’s the number one casual dining brand in the country. The team has launched the brand in Nov, 2012 with flagship restaurant at DLF Promenade Mall, Vasant Kunj and the second restaurant launched in Cyber Hub, Gurgaon. Future propeorties slated to open in India includes 15 restaurants all across Delhi NCR in the next 4 years.

About Nando’s

The idea of bringing Nando’s came from a family that has always been involved in ventures in the Hospitality industry for over 2 decades, and being constantly exposed to international F&B brands around the world, the early stages of Franchising in India got the attention immediately. Having been introduced to Nando’s in Sydney, Melbourne, London and Singapore it was love at first sight for me. Destiny played its part when I met Satbir Khangura, Sukhbir Singh and Arvinder Salariya in London, all of whom were extremely keen in being involved with the Nando’s brand and like we say, the rest is history. Eventually, after presenting business plans in New Delhi, London and Johannesburg the 4 of us (Satbir, Sukhbir, Arvinder and Deepinder) secured the Franchise rights for Delhi NCR.

Disclaimer: Press Release
The Yellow Chilli, a family restaurant, Sanjeev Kapoors Khazana is located at Pacific Mall, Ghaziabad. If you are a first time visitor of the mall, and are aware of Yellow Chilli because it is a restaurant opened by great chef Sanjeev Kapoor then you will be bound to visit it. I did the same and below is my experience with the restaurant -

I didn't have a good time in Yellow Chilli Restaurant. With the name associated with this resto bar, I am really disappointed with every aspects of this place. If talk about its interior, ambiance, services and most importantly the food. The Menu offers alot and that too with some never heard before, unique and unusual dish names like Shabnam Ke Moti, Amritsary Machli, Lawrence road tandoori murgh, Puran Singh Da Tari Waala Murgh and more. But, unfortunately, the taste  isn't unique and different. The food was similar to what we can experience at any take away food point or some local restaurants near your home. There is nothing special about this place to talk about.

Now, talking about the food, we started with the Peppery Kasoori Fish Tikka (395/-), Murgh Angar Bedgi (285/-), Head Banger - a mocktail (125/-). Both dishes have 6 medium size cubical pieces of fish/chicken tasting like anyone can cook at home, simply roasted in a microwave with no fuss or minimum efforts served along with 3 or 4 rings of onion and green curd-corriander chutney. Head Banger tasted like a syrup while the ingredients had banana, mango juice and milk in it. This was my wife's choice as she wanted some milk in her mocktail. Both of us didn't like that overpowering, strong flavour of a "certain" syrup.

With almost disappointed with the starters and had almost lost the trust over their chef, we made a move and planned to had dinner - something extra spicy and tasty. I ended up ordering Murgh Mirch Khadai (INR 365), Lasooni Naan (INR 60/-), Pudina Parantha (50/-) in the main course.  Chicken dish was not spicy at all rather it was more salty and tasted like kadhai chicken. Pudina paratha was very thick and non crispy, Lasooni naan was ok.  It was very disappointing dinning experience at Yellow Chilli and desperately wanted to finish ASAP. Service was average, most of the servers seemed confused of what they are doing and what they have to do. I certainly cannot not prefer it to anyone to go and try. I didn't find any dish special to be captured, but still took some for your reference.

The Pink Room, a Resto-Bar in Hauz Khas Village. It offers multiple cuisine to its customer which includes Asian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Indonesian, Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish. Its Pink all over the place as the name suggest. The Lights, Chair, Sofas, Lamps and Menu. Their statement is "Pink is not just a color, its an attitude". It is a three floor restaurant bar along with a terrace. Not very big in size but still can occupy decent number of people.

There is a sitting for around 10-12 person on the first section of the place and the other section of the first floor, you will have the Bar with quite a big Television Screen on its left and again sitting for 10-12 person on the right side. The Interiors have definitely something to talk about, nice cozy with pink effects all over, i liked the steel bucket' lamps with Pink color inside and white from outside, i really loved that and wouldn't mind trying out someday.

And now taking the stairs upwards to get into the second floor, they have their DJ playing with the music and Sitting for around 20-25 people. One of the staff member told me about the terrace and straight away i preferred to sit over there and to my fortune the climate was also at its best ;)

peach, starwberry, smoothie Now time to review the food. We ordered Pink Room Special Lemon Chicken (Rs.295/-), Honey Sweet Chilli Potato (Rs.255/-), Peach & Strawberry Smoothie (Rs.175/-) and 2 Pint (Kingfisher). My wife liked the smoothie, it was quite refreshing. They really offers wide variety of Smoothies to choose. Lemon chicken was well served in terms of quantity, but eventually not good with its taste. It was not tangy and juicy as we've expected it to be. Chicken pieces were not tender rather chewy and it really had something missing in it. Honey Sweet Potatoes were good enough though, but still not the best..

I must admit the prices here are on the higher size as compared to the taste and quality, but its certainly a good place to visit along with friends and your partner because of its nice and cozy ambiance. Though I personally liked their terrace area, it has a fountain wall and water mist sprayer. Very Good Service, Someone is always there to help you and food has been served in good timely manner irrespective of increase in number of guests.

A lot different from what you have seen in  most places
